	Special Low Temperature Grease NTN "Formula" bearings are made with a special low temperature grease capable of enduring temperatures a low as -50 degrees Celsius. The role of NTN's special low temperature grease is to ensure a proper oil film layer at very low temperatures, especially on initial startup.
	Exclusive Blue Low Drag Seal The NTN contact seal is unique since it uses a double lip seal to ensure optimum protection from contamination. As the inner seal lip wears, the outer lip then comes into contact with its groove, further prolonging the seal's effective life.
	Premium Hardened Steel Construction This steel is better known as SUJ2 carbon chromium bearing steel - a unique grade of steel included in the design of every NTN Formula bearing for long life and durability.
	Riveted Steel Cage The riveted steel cage inside the Formula bearing resists breakage better than other cage designs. The Formula bearing's riveted steel cage does not unravel, which usually is the case with standard tab-type cages found in many other bearings.
	Precision Assembly One of the most important tolerance measures is the radial internal clearance. This is the amount of space between the raceways and ball. NTN takes special care to control this tolerance to maximize bearing performance.
